Action Council

The CWS Jersey City Migrant Justice Action Council brings together emerging leaders across New York and New Jersey to help create a more welcoming community for refugees and humanitarian migrants. The Council provides an opportunity to professionals between the ages of 22-40 who are dedicated to the mission of CWS Jersey City, to commit to utilizing their resources, networks, and skills to advance CWS JC’s work. The MJA Council is composed of two parts: Council Leaders and Council Members. Leaders act as ‘board’ members, steering the activities, fundraising efforts and strategic growth of the Council’s work. Members commit to participating in the Council’s work through event attendance, giving, and volunteering. Together, the Council aims to raise at least $20,000 in its first year!
